Privacy policy
Short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, and we don't sell or share it.
What we collect
If you fill out our interest or volunteer form, we collect the name, email address, and message you enter, along with whether you asked to help build trails or to receive news and updates. We do not collect anything else, and there is no way to browse this site that requires giving us information.
How we collect it
When you submit the form, the details are sent to our website and recorded in a private Google spreadsheet that only our volunteers can see. An automated service, Zapier, watches that spreadsheet and sends us the notification so we know to get back to you. Google and Zapier process this information on our behalf and are covered by their own privacy policies.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to let you know about work days and events if you asked to hear from us, and to gauge how much community interest there is in trails. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone outside the organization except the services described above, or where we are required to by law. We keep submissions for as long as we're running trail projects in the area.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Other services
Donations are handled by Donorbox and are covered by their privacy policy, not this one. Links to Facebook and to our trail maps take you to sites we don't control.
Getting your information removed
Email us at friendsofnorwintrails@gmail.com and we'll take you off our list and delete what we hold.
